Welcome to the audiobook enhancement tool.
The program processes recordings and makes them louder, clearer, and more pleasant to listen to.
HOW TO USE:
1. Insert files Ctrl O or a folder Ctrl Shift O .
Add the audio files you want to process.
Originals are not changed. Results go into the output folder.
2. Choose output folder Ctrl S .
This is where the processed files will be saved.
3. Volume profile.
Off: no gain.
Mild: gentle, natural gain.
Mild focus: clearer voice, midrange emphasized.
Strong: strong gain for quiet recordings.
Night mode: quiet and pleasant for nighttime.
Standard: moderate level, usually sufficient.
4. Clarity profile EQ .
Off: no change.
Aggressive low-cut: strongly removes bass.
Archival recordings: balance for old recordings.
Mild focus EQ: gently emphasizes midrange.
Clean voice: removes muddiness.
Extremely poor: boosts speech in very poor recordings.
Speech focus: improves speech intelligibility.
Clearer: emphasizes mid and high tones.
Fake stereo: correction for recordings made in mono but saved as stereo.
Useful for digitized cassettes and older recordings.
Mid focus: emphasizes mid frequencies.
Unintelligible speech: boosts mid and high tones for muddy recordings.
Neutral: no change.
Radio clarity: pronounced and clear.
Reduced bass: reduces low tones.
Brighter: slightly more high tones.
Studio clarity: balanced and analytical.
Phone: correction for recordings that sound like phone calls.
Phone Plus Repair: stronger correction for phone recordings.
Useful when Phone didn't improve the sound enough.
Warm voice: reduces high tones and slightly boosts bass.
Useful when the voice sounds shrill, harsh, or tiring for longer listening.
5. Format mp3, wav, flac .
Choose the format the processed files will be saved in.
6. Save originals.
Enable this option if you want the original files copied into a separate subfolder.
7. Noise removal.
Enable if the recording has background noise.
The slider determines how aggressively noise is removed.
Wiener: good for mild noise.
Spectral: removes constant noise across frequencies.
Median: good for impulse noise.
Hybrid: combines methods, recommended if you're not sure.
8. Test preview Ctrl T .
Plays 60 seconds of processing so you can hear what the result will sound like.
Useful before processing the whole file.
9. Analyze all Ctrl Shift A .
The program reviews the recordings itself and suggests a profile and EQ.
Recommended if you're not sure what to choose.
Analysis progress is shown on the progress bar.
10. Start processing Ctrl Shift P .
Starts processing all inserted files.
Progress is shown on the bar.
Stop processing Esc : stops the current process.

SLIDERS:
Noise removal strength 0 to 100 : how aggressively noise is removed.
Target peak 0.80 to 0.99 : maximum allowed level after normalization.
Target RMS 0.05 to 0.30 : average signal level, affects overall gain.
Analysis RMS threshold: below this level the program automatically boosts the recording.
Analysis SNR threshold in decibels: below this threshold noise removal is enabled.
Analysis duration in seconds: how many seconds from the start of the file are used for analysis.
Number of parallel processes: how many files are processed at the same time.
PRACTICAL TIPS:
If there is noise, enable noise removal and use Speech focus or Clean voice.
If the recording is muddy, try Clearer with mild gain.
If bass dominates, use Reduced bass or Aggressive low-cut.
If it sounds like a phone call, try Phone or Phone Plus.
If the voice is shrill, try Warm voice.
For old recordings, try Archival recordings.
If the recording is a digitized cassette or an older mono recording, the analysis will suggest Fake stereo.
If you're not sure, click Analyze all and the program will suggest settings.
